One of the first things you do when you set up a WordPress site is work on the colours, font, design, and look. It's time to add text and information. But what about WordPress security? Don't allow the fun of setting up a site that is new distract you from the objective of protecting the information you're putting online.

Documents can easily get lost if you don't have good protection on your site. Some of those files might be stored on your computer and easily replaceable, but what about the rest of them?
